Our children deserve a safe, modern outdoor space where they can run, grow, compete, and just be kids.

We are calling for our Smyser Community, Parents and Staff to provide signatures of support for a new turf field with a track and a safe, inclusive playground for our students and community.

Right now, our outdoor facilities limit opportunities for physical activity, school programs, and community use. Uneven surfaces and aging equipment create safety concerns and restrict access. Meanwhile, our children need movement, fresh air, teamwork, and connection more than ever.

A new turf field and track would provide:

• A safer surface for sports and physical education
• Year-round usability
• Space for school events and community activities

A new playground would provide:

• Safe, modern equipment
• Inclusive play for children of all abilities
• A welcoming space for families to gather
