Let’s get smart like other states and vaccinate our teachers. Then there will be no more excuses not to get back to in person learning and also no way for unions to leverage that for contract negotiations

As a health care provider in an urgent care setting, I have cared for thousands of covid exposed and affected patients and families this past year. I have not seen any increase in spreading or cases related to in person schooling. Having children continue with online learning is much more of a detriment to our children when compared to theun-medically proven “risk” of attending school. Our kids are suffering mentally, physically and this generation will of course suffer academically. I pray and hope that the school board and district will do as they have been hired and elected to do- help the children and be our voices!!
