This is sooo very wrong. I have ALWAYS been around animals, both inside and out. Does not mater if there are animals around or not....THERE ARE FLEAS! Fleas can live in building can have been brought in by Racoons, bats, rats, etc....so unless u are planning on killing every living creature at SMU I dont believe u are gonna solve ur problem. These kitties are just trying to live and catching or killin g tge way u r is inhumane at best!!!! STOP THE INSANITY. I AM SURE U PROBABLY HAVE SOME . STUDENTS TGAT NEVER SHOWER OR TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES...are u removing THEM TOO????

As a former feeder for the SMU Feral Cat program, this is inexcusable. The Feral Cat program has done a great job of keeping the cats and residents of the SMU campus living in harmony. I will no longer support the school as an alumni and will spread the word about this gross mistreatment of animals that have done nothing but good for the campus. Whoever is on the Emergency Operations Committee should look for something better to do than to kill off 45 innocent lives.

There are 45 lives at risk after a decision by Southern Methodist University's Emergency Operations Committee in Dallas, TX decided to rid the campus of a longstanding, well-managed, cat program, the SMU Feral Cat Group.
They are using Terminix to inhumanely trap our cats in 100 degree weather RIGHT NOW. Please help us act against this cruelty!

This has to be stopped. What will happen when these already neutered cats are removed from a college campus? More cats will come. And the cycle will start over again.
