Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso Indiana needs designated smoking locations. Currently, there is no smoking on sidewalks or near entrances but the rules are often times not followed or enforced. Students are forced to walk through secondhand smoke on the way to and from their cars each day. If we were to have a designated smoking area, smokers would have a place to go, and students would not be forced to breathe in secondhand smoke.
