United States citizens who are smokers, it is past time for us to make a stand for our rights, just as non-smokers have so successfully done.

Our rights to smoke in restaurants, hotels, motels, beaches, parks and the biggie, airports have been systematically eradicated almost totally.

As smokers we have been lazy. We tried to be nice. Smoking sections was the first step to take away our rights. Being very nice people for the most part, we said"that's reasonable". But that wasn't good enough for our non-smoking community.

Being a world traveler, hotels got on the band wagon because their insurance rates went down. In the U.S., you must now stay in a 1 or 2 star motel if you are to find a place where you can smoke in your room. If you live in cold country, you must go out, sometimes in rain, sleet and snow. Airports! I'm not 100% sure! but I believe there about 8 airports in the U.S. (Land of the free) that have smoking rooms.

We are being violated every moment of every day almost everywhere and we stand together like sheep to the slaughter.

We pay huge taxes on our smokes. Shouldn't we have taxpayer rights?

Get on board. Let's have a voice. Let's quit complaining and do something.
Smoking isn't healthy! But it's legal, it's taxed and our rights have been impugned!
