As a global trend, many public institutions have already banned smoking on their properties. Mohawk College in Hamilton has already started its plan of gradually removing all designated smoking areas on its campus. We hope that McMaster University can recognize the detrimental effects of second hand smoking and implement a gradual ban on smoking as well.
