Sand is not the best option. People with strollers, canes, walkers, etc can't even sit at a picnic table. Consider the same crushed rock that is by the grills. It's easy to keep clean and maneuver on.

We would like to explore a better option immediately which takes into account all
members of the community including babies and the elderly who were clearly not thought of during the initial decision for sand.

Please remove the sand from the picnic area! I can't bring my baby stroller on it and last night there was food getting buried all over. It's awful. I'd be happy to chip in money if we can't afford to fix it without members helping to pay.
