Cigarette smoke is the one leading cause of death in the Philippine's according to the studies made by the Department of Health that there is no safe level of exposure to second-hand smoke. We, the undersigned regarding the prohibition of smoking , believe that everyone has the right to breathe fresh air and prevent smoking.Smoking can cause diseases that can kill us all even not the smokers it called 2nd hand smoking much dangerous in 1 hand smoking. For that reason, the purpose of this petition is to prohibit the use of smoking tobacco products within the covered are of San Jose del Monte Bulacan. This would include all buildings, parking structures, campus walkways, and university-owned vehicles.

Local officials together with the designated guards and baranggay officials would be well within their legal rights to ban the use of tobacco products on on the covered are of SJDM Bulacan. Furthermore, Local officials together with the designated guards and baranggay has an ethical responsibility to implement policies that benefit the health and well-being of it's people,authorities and guest. It would be in Local government best interest to follow the example of hundreds of other country around the Philippines that have made their covered area healthier, happier environments by banning the use of smoking tobacco.
