Join us in making Hale O Kalani a smoke-free residence for all. Our goal is to be able to open our windows and breathe healthy smoke-free air. Owners and renters of units in multi-unit housing buildings have the choice to make their entire building smoke-free. There is no law protecting smokers or giving them the right to smoke in their unit, the choice is up to us as residents. Implementing a smoke-free building rule is legal and costs nothing to protect the building and residents from fires caused by cigarettes and their ashes as well as second hand smoke.

By signing this petition you show that you are concerned about the dangers of cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and marijuana smoke effects on our community at Hale-O-Kalani. We want the building to be smoke-free by having owners who rent out their units list them as non-smoking only and residents not to smoke in their units. Doing so will allow everyone to breathe air that is free from secondhand smoke while in their homes, protecting the building from smoke and fire damage and increasing quality of life for all residents.
