I strongly feel masks our a detriment to our children’s social emotional health and well being. If we are all sitting in restaurants unmasked regardless of vacation status, why can’t our children sit in classrooms?

Children should not have to wear mask. It is unhealthy and there has been no proof that mask prevent the virus. Children require facial expressions and interactions with each other as part of development. No to wearing masks

I believe our children have suffered enough over the last year and a half of covid. They have lost so much and deserve some normalcy. They should be free to learn. I’m tired of my son coming home with headaches from wearing his mask all day at school. Let the parents decide what’s best for their children not the politicians.

I would like the choice of whether or not my soon to be kindergartner where’s a mask or not. I’m vaccinated as well is her community to a large degree. Let’s continue how we did over the summer in Smithtown and give it a chance and a choice to be maskless at their desk at least.
