Not allowing alcohol sales on Sunday is a continuation of archaic restrictions still imposed on us by the religious beliefs of those in office. Trying to appease the religious sector discriminates the remainder of us who live in the Bible belt of Alabama. Help us move forward, pass House Bill 69.

It's time that we move out of the Dark Ages of prohibition. Alcoholic drinks are legal for adults, and should not be regulated by "Self interest" groups that want to impose their "Morality" on the general public. What happened to SEPERATION of CHURCH & STATE?
This would help local restaurants stay in business. Thus helping the small businessman.

It is time for this area to join the 21st century. These laws limiting alcohol sales are archaic. It is a fact that the city of Cullman has prospered economically since "going wet". I am sure this would happen in the Smith Lake area. Wake up!!
