I agree. This intersection is far too congested to continue as a 4 way stop.

I too would like to see a full traffic light there, not just a pedestrian-activated crossing. I am always in car going through there on the way to Cascade Heights and better than half of the drivers who go through there either do not know how a 4-way stop works or they do know but choose to ignore it because apparently they're "special". This intersection is dangerous for pedestrians and motorists. Very high traffic, very poor sight lines if you're driving east or west on Kincaid, and very narrow on Kincaid if you happen to arrive there as a bus is making a right off of Smith going towards the hospital. Recipe for a fatality - only unknowns are who and when.

People just don't slow down or stop. It is ridiculous and scary.

The intersection should have a light. It is a very busy intersection with allot of pedestiran, buss, regular commuters and hospital driven traffic.

i have seen young children cross from cross walk and getting confused by cars or buses coming from all direction. Having proper crossing will resolve this issue.

This four way stop is dangerous. Our two children attend cascade heights elementary and we can't trust them to walk to school on their own because the risk of being hit when crossing Kinkaid is just too high. A traffic light with a cross walk would be much safer and would help to slow down the traffic in that area.

I was hit (as a pedestrian) at this intersection years ago and they needed a traffic light then. Now I am sure it is even busier with traffic. The need is even greater now.

I don't live in the immediate area but I drive through that intersection everyday to and from work and I can attest to its danger for both motorists and pedestrians, particularly during rush hour. The fact that it's a bus route further complicates the problem as transit users try to cross the intersection and I've witnessed many close calls over the years.

There is too much traffic and too much speeding on Smith road especially between Canada Way and Kincaid. That stretch of road has no crosswalks, signs, lights or speed bumps. There is no sidewalk on the West side of the street for most of that stretch of road as well. Cars are travelling too fast and it is very dangerous for pedestrians and also for vehicles trying to turn onto Smith from side streets.

I live right next to this intersection. I was home Monday night but I don't recall hearing any commotion outside. It is a crazy intersection though. Lots of people do not even stop. So many times I've come up to it, being the first to arrive, and someone comes just after and doesn't even stop because they can't possibly wait the 10 seconds to let me go first like they are supposed to.
