Please consider why the outcome of all mask studies can be determine by looking at the published date. All mask studies prior to 2019 say that masks do not do anything to prevent viral infection. Suddenly, after the pandemic masks are really effective against viruses. Also please consider if nurses/MDs go into COVID positive rooms with a cloth or barrier mask. I believe the answer to be no, because they are not effective.

Please remove the mask mandate - especially for children. As a preschool teacher, I see the damage being done to their welfare. It is impossible for them to wear a mask effectively anyway.

A properly fitted N95 mask stops down to 5 microns, Covid is a 2 micron virus. It is the equivalent of stopping a mosquito from going through a chain link fence. The effects of prolonged mask usage such as contracting bacterial phenomena and staff infection should seriously be taken into account. Despite your reign over this bubble of Dane County, you and all public health officials WILL be held accountable for crimes against humanity. I kindly advise you to turn back and stop this abuse of power while you still can.

The rest of the State is without this silly mask mandate. Please get rid of it. We are all laughing at you in Dane cty. And so happy that we don't live in such a horrible county, run by such power-hungry bureaurcrats. I won't spend one dime in Dane cty until you drop your stupid mandates!

If the masks made a difference, I'd be all for them. But compare the numbers, the stats, and the FACTS from Dane Co, to surrounding counties that have not been under a mandate... there is no significant difference!

Stop the mask mandate!! If masks work, they will protect the person wearing it, SO, how are those who choose to not wear them a threat- you have yours on! Or is there something being hidden??
