I worked for Helen Ross in 2008 as her live in apt. manger, and her district manger over all of her locations I know how she operates, I know where she gets her unsuspecting mangers from, she has a unlimited source from the APARTMENT ASSOCIATION GREATER LOS ANGELES training center , I know I was one of their students, and they send out your name`s to their members who are either owners or property manger co. I know how she rips off new tenants, she rents the apt. and has them fill out a lease,she then takes the lease and tells them she will give them a copy when their check clears, but in truth she destroys it. I was a witness to that, if it is cash she tells them she will give them a receipt. she tells them she did not bring her receipt book with her and that the copper is not working at that location. but that will never happen and within one or two months she claims they never paid their rent and evicts, when the tenant start complain about the cockroaches and bad pluming and others things and takes her to court they have no proof that they ever paid their rent. she fails to report to the IRS 1099 due to the fact she does not want to admit that they were her employees for that short time, she calls the police and tells them they are homeless people that broke in and are living in one of her apt. even one of her lawyers said he knew how she was ripping off 888 management and the IRS. I truly hope you can put her our of business.

I moved into a unit owned by Ronald Properties LLC in Alhambra about three weeks ago. Since the day of the move-in, I've discovered so many issues with the apartment unit that I can't believe they would rent it out in this condition. The manager had convinced us everything was being repaired. Now the managers story has changed to "I'm sorry there is nothing I can do, the landlord refuses to repair the unit." I am dealing with a toilet that doesn't work. A window next to the front door that is broke and won't lock, allowing anyone to come in if they wanted. One of the room doors is broken and doesn't close. The shower walls and tub are so filthy and it's obvious that they were painted and primates over to hide the cracks in the tub. One of the kitchen cabinets looks like it caught fire as its burnt and blackened. The stove doesn't turn on. The wall outlets in the entire unit weren't working for 2 weeks. I complained about this to the owner from the day I moved in and everyday onward until it was fixed late last week. That's not even the half of it. I can't count the number of things wrong with this unit. And the manager seems to have his hands tied and is very clear about his inability to repair anything without the owners approval. I made a big mistake moving in here and I'm not sure what to do now. I still don't have a working toilet even.

Our Water went out yesterday. Helen Ross owner of Ronald Properties, LLC would not respond to anyone's phone calls or text messages. Water cannot be turned on unless she goes to pay. She needs her properties taken from her. She is a Slum Lord and there are many online postings to prove that she won't fix things. All she wants is the money. I have a police report in Huntington Beach with a picture of where she scratch me. She attacked me for no apparent reason. I would be willing to appear in court for a class action suit anyone has on her. Just email me and give me details.

I live in her apartments in torrance and there is always a new manager every month and there has always been other rental companties taking over but then before a month passes it goes back to helen and ronald properties. She has lost our checks and now gave us a 3 day notice.

We were tenants for 4 months at her Torrance apts. When we moved out on Feb. 28 2014 after giving our 30 days notice, the Manager John assured us we would get our full $1,000 deposit back within the next 21 days. So the 21 days have come and gone and for two months now we've been calling, showing up demanding our deposit but nothing.
As a last resort we sent a certified letter asking for our deposit to be refunded within 7 days or we will be suing, no response. The last thing I did was call the owner HELEN ROSS and she acted like she had no idea! The lady is irrational and won't listen, both times I called she gave me lame excuses and hung up.
They are also doing some kind of fraud, the time we lived there they changed one of the apartments # to the same as ours 121 probably to cover up for someone receiving gov. assistance. I had ups deliveries and they were confused with the two121 apts.
Very bad people.
