Slow Hixson Pike Traffic - S Curves - to Veterans Bridge

I too have a petition with 100 signatures from City of CHA citizens concerned with the dangerous speeding and the nearly round the clock daily noise caused by the mufflerless vehicles. The City Code ordinances need to be enforced; our police officers have little recourse in enforcing the speeding motorcylists as the CPD policy is wisely not to pursue. However, the scofflaws know that they will not be pursued, plus many civer their license plate, so cameras are of no use. The city code ordinance re decibel level limits is currently unenforceable accirding to police officers I have spoken with, because the instrument in use to measure decibel levels does not hold up in court cases. This is a quality of life issue and lack of enforcement of ordinances that predate the current Covid19 crisis.

The annoyance is even further north than S-curves; we Live above the Rivermont food city plaza, and are constantly disturbed by the screaming motorcycle noise

If our local pols can't fix this, they must be replaced!

Calming traffic at the intersection of Dorchester and Hixson Pike would be a huge boon to businesses in that area.

I agree the motorcycles are out of control

I live on this section of the street and the sound of the motorcycles can be deafening in the house. My children are scared to walk the dog because the traffic is so fast and loud. Please slow this traffic! It is dangerous.

I live on Hixson Pike close to Dartmouth and the motor cycles use Hixson Pike as a speed way. They go extremely fast and the noise is terrible! I have witnessed on Many occasions tricks being done ... standing up, popping wheelies, ect. I would love for it to be safer and patrolled more.

The motorcycles are 100% out of control. Too fast, too loud. Someone is going to get killed. The Riverview bike lane should extend up Hixson Pike in north lane. Would be great for the neighborhood and local businesses.

I used to live and work here - this is a much needed change to this stretch of road.

Something badly needs to be done. The motorcycles,particularly at the weekend,are out of control. It would also be very helpful if the city did something about the condition of the sidewalks,several spots are dangerous.

We live on Hixson Pike and hear the motorcycles at all hours of the day and night. They are traveling at extremely unsafe speeds. This needs to be addressed.
