absolutely in need of this, once the road was paved smooth a few years ago near by house cars routinely drive by in excess of 40 to 50 miles per hour

The petition should include North Chestnut Street as well.

I support the installation of speed bumps. As a hiker of the pond trails I've seen many people speeding on those narrow roads putting other walkers/bikers at risk.

There are a lot of dogs and young puppies being walked in this area and it makes for an opportunity for an accident.

I have two small children and am very concerned for their safety due to speeding cars on our road. We like to take walks up to the trails but are fearful of walking the short distance on the road.

I've been in this area for 10 years now and I am always so nervous with my grandkids coming to visit! I hope this is taken seriously

This is ridiculous! These drivers need to slow down before somebody gets hurt. Just last week I saw somebody going close to 70 MPH!!!

We have these same speeders on the North Chestnut side of the pond as well and would also like to see speed humps on our street.

I hope that this request is taken with great consideration. I too live on a street that lends itself to speeding vehicles, so I truly understand the concern of those who live near the Supply Ponds.

Mill Plain Rd. also has a big problem also very close to turn onto Short Rocks Rd. Speed Limit is posted on Mill Plain Rd. at 25 MPH.

Speeding is a problem on Mill Plain Road also. On both roads you risk your life just trying to cross the road. There are no sidewalks on either road and speed bumps would hopefully help slow drivers down

We live at #43 Short Rocks Road, and we often see cars speeding around the curve just by us. We think speed bumps are a great idea. So many people walk by the ponds, it could help keep many people and their children and pets safe.

I agree completely. I live on the N Chestnut side of the loop and not only is the traffic very heavy at times, most cars ignore the 25 MPH speed limit.
