my favourite sloan albums are not typical: smeared & commonwealth. but that just goes to show that every sloan album is absolutely amazing and they deserve to be inducted. i mean, come one, nickelback before sloan??? INSANE.

This is a no brainer, it’s almost shocking it hasn’t happened yet and quite frankly the fact that they are not in yet shows how irrelevant these institutions really are

These guys have 13 records, including a Juno-winning album of the year. They've been a bad for 30+ years with the same lineup putting on incredible live shows year after year and the content of many of their songs is full of Canadiana.
How can Nickelback already be inducted and Sloan still left out? Please right this wrong.

I first heard Sloan on a music sampler at Tower Records in San Francisco in 1998 and I haven’t turned away since. I tell all my friends they are the Canadian Beatles. Please give them the credit they deserve.
