Our city officials are clueless. Do they have any idea what it is like to not have water to flush, to bathe, to do laundry, to wash your fruits and vegetables? Do they care that the people they are to serve and protect are being denied the human right to affordable, clean water. Note, I did not say free water; affordable.

Capitalism at its finest while the residents of this city do not have water. Disgraceful to say the least. Donate the money or do not proceed with this effort. And by all means, do not continue to call yourselves 'conservationists'.

This is outrageous! There is no way that this makes any sense OTHER than as a gift to the low-income families who are having/have had water turned off. They deserve every drop of profit from this otherwise insensitive project.
