This proposed tower is way too tall and the area is too congested as is.

The Skyplex is a bad idea and should not be allowed, I ask everyone to vote no on the Skyplex exception.

We do not need another structure to add to the noise and traffic in the I-Drive area.

Dear Mayor and Commissioners,
Please do not give in to the anti competition rhetoric of Universal Studios regarding the proposed Skyplex Tower. This is pure sour grapes from a large corporation bent on making more money. I have lived next to Universal Studios since it was built and I can assure you they are NOT good neighbors and care nothing about the nearby community.
The “Save Our Community” expensive mailing demonstrates how desperate they are in influencing the political process. To high? Come on. We live in a theme park town! Get over it! It will draw business from 30 miles away! That’s what Universal wants us to do when we complain about late night noise from conventions, roller coasters and fireworks and light pollution from spot light beams shining over our house. ! It was a clever move for Universal to buy City Of Orlando zoning in the middle of an Orange County community so we could get no action on our complaints. The police tell us: Oh, you live in Orange County and they are in Orlando so we can’t do anything”.
Sincerely,
Bruce Flora

This is appalling. There is no infrastructure for new roads. It will be a visual eyesore to drivers on I-4, doubtless causing many accidents. This is SO out of line for the area, and violates the 50-foot restriction so egregiously that I would hope that the project would be tied up in lawsuits for years. It will become the icon for Orlando - and God forbid that there are accidents with the ride. Orlando will once again appear in the international news for the wrong reasons. Bad idea. Bad timing. Tasteless. It makes mockery of the City Beautiful.

The traffic in the area is already horrible and dangerous. The noise and lights from Universal has been accompanied to neighbor complaints/requests. This tower will dominate and increase the light pollution as well as traffic. Move it near the convention center.

Orlando is becoming way too congested! Keep this "project" out of here! People who live here year round do not need anymore of it!

The skyline in Orlando does not need any additional alterations to the skyline. Our entertainment is best served as is.

If it must go up put it in the spare land just west of the treatment plant and between sandlake road and the convention center. give some breathing space. you're making I'drive look like the inside of a hoarders house. Keep it clean and make a visit here an adventure not an unpleasant experience

Maybe you should move away from a tourist destination, or did you not know that Orlando is a tourist town?
