Final supporters
As staff of Save the Children UK, we request that the Directors reverse the policy that currently prevents us from using Skype properly on our desktop computers. We are the only part of Save the Children which cannot use it to communicate easily with colleagues across the world and are unique among large development NGOs.
Being unable to use the free voice, instant messaging and videoconferencing is harming our ability to do our jobs effectively.

The volume of support has reached a level that the internal IT committee can no longer overlook. I am currently preparing a formal letter to present our collective position to the Directors during our briefing session.

working behind the times. everyone else uses skype, why do we have to deal with these outdated blocks?
seriously, how are we expected to reach people when we cant even use standard office tools? sort it out.
Ridiculous that we are an international org but have to jump through hoops just to talk to our own field teams. Fix this please.
We look like a joke compared to other NGOs. Connectivity is not a luxury in this line of work.
