Recently Skyfire, a company that created one of the most amazing mobile browsers, has stopped supporting the Windows Mobile platform with it's Skyfire version 1 in favor of vesrion 2 for iphone, Android & Windows phone users, leaving potential hundreds of thousands high & dry. Skyfire was reported as stating that "Skyfire 1.0 and 1.5 will remain available as a free service in the following countries after July 1st: United States, U.K., Canada, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Korea and Taiwan." The reason for the stated for the dissemination are said to "the management of operating costs." However I and several thousand other faithful Skyfire users in North America have noticed that Skyfire no longer works on several windows 6.5 devices anymore. Windows mobile 6.5, while not new, is a relatively current browser and the sudden abandonment of your core is disappointing & disheartening. The option to purchase Skyfire for continued use was never an option as it was/is a free browser. Please bring Skyfire back to it's core supporters!
