We as SkyCity need our own substation to reduce the load for the Tsietsi and Palmiridge residents. SkyCity is big on its own.

We sure and desperately would like to have our own substation as new development, and the high rise of electricity is unacceptable, we need to understand why do we pay for what we don't get?

When municipalities fail to supply reliable electricity to rate-paying areas, they breach both administrative and statutory duties. “These failures contravene Sections 4 and 5 of the Municipal Systems Act, which guarantee sustainable service delivery and community engagement. The Electricity Regulation Act further mandates reliability and accountability in the provision of power.”

Sky City residences are experiencing power cuts on regular bases due substation they are connected to,as 90 % of the residences from Palmridge and Greenfield are not paying electricity and are bridging electricity which causes the tripping of power . As residences of Sky City we need our own Substaion.
