We want our own substation

We need an independent substation to supply electricity to Sky City residential area

We need our own mini substation fullstop

Good day Sir/Madam I hope this message finds you well. We moved to Sky City December 2019 and by then the development was fairly new and construction was underwater most of the houses in our extension was not even done were still being built. Because of this I believe that is why we didn't struggle much with electricity. But as Sky City grew so did our electricity problems. But we didn't understand this as we were under the impression we have our own substation. Only later that we found out that we are sharing our substation with neighbouring locations which is totally unfair cause most of them are being rumoured that they have electricity illegally as they have tempered with their meter boxes. Can we kindly request that as residents who are not only paying a bond every month but also buys electricity and pays rates and taxes we are treated fairly that we have our own substation.

With the ever increasing rates and taxes and the increasing bond amount we pay..including the ever increasing newly built houses we can't be under the same sub station with many old townships...theres a lot of izinyoka happening there and it's unfair to us paying citizens

We pay for our electricity—it's time we had control over it. Our community deserves its own dedicated substation, not a forced connection to Greenfield. Reliable power, future growth, and respect for our investment it’s what we’re owed. ⚡✊

We Sky City Housing resident, The Bronx and The Milano would want our own substation based in what we experienced when connected from already tired and overloaded substation.

I am signing this petition to express my disappointment at the fact that we share an electricity sub stations with people who live in places that do not even buy electricity. The past 2 weeks without electricity was hell and I had to throw out alot of meat that got rotten because I buy in bulk as I do not have money to buy meat every week. It is in good interest that residents of sky city, Milano Security Estate and the Bronx have their own substatuon

We pay our bills and also buy electricity it's unfair that we have to struggle just because of other people
