I spent the morning looking at potential lots with a few neighbors because the kids in our community deserve a safe place to ride. Seeing your comments reminds me exactly why I started this search in the first place.

Seeing this kind of energy for a local skate park makes me really optimistic for the youth in our neighborhood. It is clear that I am not the only person who believes this space is essential for us.

skateboarding is not a crime!!!! just build it already
Great idea. Keep the kids busy and out of trouble. Win win.
YES PLEASE. My son has been asking for this for years. Skokie is behind the times.
The kids need somewhere to go. Tired of seeing them skating in the parking lots and getting yelled at.
Finally some movement on this. Huge need for a park in our town.

My nephew would love this. Its about time we invested in stuff for the teenagers around here
