This would be a great addition to our community. Grew up around skateparks and some really great friends and memories made there, better than tearing up private and public property

This is always a great thing for kids to stay active and out of trouble. I really wish there were more parks when I was growing up!

I believe skaters need a place in Rock Hill. Our city is growing, and if we don’t have a place for them to go, they will end up in places they aren’t wanted.

This has been a needed project. No matter who you are or your circumstances, there should always be a safe place to pursue your hobbies and passions. Rock Hill has lost its only two skateparks. Indigo moon closed in 2007-2008 and re opened as revert many years later only to close its doors after 2 years in 2013- 2014. Red river has been closed off for years only to be re opened and preyed upon by the local police. We just want somewhere to express ourselves without the overwhelming hatred for the current ethos and ideology that people assume skateboarders are.
