I got a ticket for skating in a parking lot before and it would be amazing for us to have a free and safe place to skate where we can just enjoy our craft

This would be great and would also put the Carolinas on the map even more so for Southeastern skateboarding considering that the city of Charlotte, NC has had two to three different petitions asking for a free park (especially for this size of acreage) but to no response from the city council.

Kids have been kicked out of parking lots, and public places for decades over trying to skate. The world is their playground but they have no where to go.
It is a sport, so why would we not encourage this?

This would be huge for rock hill. Give our skate boarding teens somewhere to ride!! Not only for skateboarding but rollerblading, scooting.
We have to take our kids an hour away to ride.
