I signed this ” Skatepark of Dana Point” petition with 120% support of the concept of building a skateboard park in Dana Point for our youth and the location this group is proposing is a great idea, but other possible Dana Point locations should be considered, too.

I am all for public spaces that bring people together in a healthy way. Skateboard park would put a spotlight on a sport that has been around and is growing in a professional way for our youth. Let's give people a place where they can do it safely and legally. It's 2014 and time to make this happen. Thank you!

DP has no skatepark. Just down the 5 freeway, Oceanside just opened a 3rd skatepark and Carlsbad a second. DANA POINT HAS NO SKATEPARK!
