I think this is a brilliant idea. Kids now days have no where to go and do what they have passion and love for. Having a skate park would stop them riding around the streets day and night bacause they'd have somewhere to go.

We never had anything like this when I was a kid, brilliant idea! Maybe the council could spend a little money and interest on the youngsters in the community :)

Anything that will help give youngsters somewhere to be and something to do is as always good thing. Everything else to do is always either being taken away or there's no funding.
Its great that youngsters actually WANT to be outside, embrace it!

We NEED a skatepark in Harleston. I'm a skateboarder and learning BMX skills. In Harleston we have literally no where to go, if we get a skatepark i'm sure more people will come to Harleston and it'll get kids off the streets.

A skatepark can be the best thing for youngsters to get into. Skateboarding has always been a part of my life. Now I am at university and still ride my board when I can. Some of my best experiences are from the park..

I am fully 110% behind this, I started riding bmx as a kid and it progressed me into riding motorcycles, A few years later that has now turned into my full time occupation, Everyone has to start somewhere so why not let it be in a safe and proper enviroment, Nearly every other town close to Harleston has one, This facility would be the most used facility Harleston has to offer!

This is something that Harleston should of had years ago im now 33 and have seen them pop up all over the county. A lot of money has been wasted in Harleston on things that dont and will never be used as they are supposed to be, I really think that through memory of wanting a skate park and through jealously of all the parks I see everywhere that me my son and all the kids will really appreciate it.
And I reakon a concrete one will be best
