I want a skating park. I can’t skate but if one is build, I will learn. It’ll also be fun for children like me and exciting.

My 14 year old daughter loves to skate and we have to drive to Myrtle Beach or Charleston for her to do so. Skateboarding is definitely a fun and healthy activity for children. It would be low maintenance and could even bring in revenue for the city. Most parks that we go to charge a small fee and require parents to sign a waiver so that the city would not be responsible for any accidents.

That would be awesome for the youth! It would be safer than them skating on sidewalks and road ways. It would give kids something to do ! Georgetown has nothing for kids parents has to drive to beach just kids to have fun!!

It would be amazing for my son to be able to go to a skate park instead of have to ride in the road. I believe more kids would be interested in it if they have somewhere to go. CCU’s campus is full of students riding.
