How do we not have this it’s not even that expensive compared to to all the other stuff y’all build like build something for the youth growing up here being a skateboarder it sucks and is harder to progress because there’s nothing here give something that’s actually cool to the youth

Build a park!!! I’ll help in every phase. You are neglecting your youth in Georgetown and surrounding areas without a dedicated place to go to skateboard. How can skateboarding be in the Olympic Games, the most widely viewed and prestigious sporting event in history, not have an area for potential athletes to train? A skatepark costs about 1/10th of a football stadium or baseball field, so it shouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility.
I implore you to research the positive impact rebuilding Matt Hughes skatepark in Myrtle Beach behind Pepper Geddings has on not only the youth of that area, but also the local economy and tourist traffic. Thank you for your consideration.
