Blood, sweat and thousands of dollars of concrete have been poured into this spot. Please don't close ot or doze it. It is sacred ground not only for locals but for skateboarders worldwide. SAVE SKATE FE!

We love our skatepark and the whole skateboarding community put our hard work and money invested in Skate Fe, we would appreciate if we were allowed two keep our park please reconsider the destruction.

Let's keep this place going! All the kids don't have much to skate and let off some steam somewhere. Skatefe is a place where everybody gets along no matter if you're from Visalia or outta town just visiting. All their hard work and dedication must have something to show for their struggle to have a place to go get away from security guards/police harassing them in the streets and destroying property because they have one not so good skatepark.

Skateboarding is more than a sport it's an art. Same goes for concrete. The difference in making a sidewalk compared to a skatepark isnt comparable. Why would city want to take out a piece of art that many people spent many hours on. That brings in people from all over. That spend money on food, gas, concrete from the batch plants. Thats actually building your local economy and bringing joy to people at the same time. Why destroy it.

This place (Skate Fe) is a true labor of love, built and maintained by Visalias own locals, it has taught job skills, become peoples passion and is above all a symbol of how just a few people can make something that people from around the world can appreciate and be inspired by, out of a blank slate.. I hope you can see the value of this place to the community and sports enthusiasts around the world.
