I have never skated this place but if it's good enough to be worried about and have people sign a petition then it should be saved

No one should have something they've put their blood, sweat, and tears into taken away from them. These skaters started from nothing and made it something and to just take that away from them is wrong.

I have lived on and around Santa fe all my life. I remember when the buildings were still there. I remember then they were torn down. I also remember when a few local kids decided to build there peace of skate heaven. This place was empty for years, over ran with homeless and drug users. This group of visalia skaters has cleaned up that area. This is not some cookie cutter skate park. This is a skate park build by skaters for skaters. They did this with their own money and their own hands. I was once a skater. I remember skating every square inch of visalia looking for the next place to do tricks on. I was disappointed when the visalia skate park went in. It didn't seem right. I only skated there a few times then I went back to doing what I always did, skating around town looking for my next little skate park. I would have loved to have been able to build one myself. I remember the first time I say the skaters at the skate fe. I was happy to see them building a place for themselves. I walk by there every now and again amazed by what they have done to a run down lot. Do the right thing and take it down.

I myself put $120 cash non.profit fom my neighborhood ansuch business as Santa Fe station Bowlings Barber shop & the Original S.S.B.S surf shop of Visalia absolutely 100% nonprofit organization along with stuffed pipe of Visalia. ♠♣♦

Please don't demolish Skate Fe! This is a wonderful skatepark built by hardworking community members for the love of skateboarding. Skate Fe has become a destination for skateboarding in the central valley, and has brought so many people into your city to enjoy the skate community.
