To whom it may concern,
My name is Melissa. I have known this place known as "D.I.Y" for many years. My comment is to explain the question I have for the future of this property?
Just take into consideration this place has helped the youth in positive ways. When I was not well, I would see kids out there building instead of doing what the the statistics show adolescents do today.
It's very positive. Every person skateboarding out there has shown respect and also respect for their safe spot skate spot.
Please consider to consider.

This skater made park is more beneficial to the city than another Bank. There is room for a hundred Banks but this need to be kept around

Our kids need places like this to feel engaged and have something to do with their time. There aren't enough activities here for kids. This needs to stay in operation.

Keep it open. These people worked so hard to get it started. Visalia needs more places to keep kids occupied and give them a good place to go, instead of turning to violence and drugs...
