I am not a skater personally, however, i have seen the benifits of this establishment to the true skaters. It keeps them living a physically healthy lifestyle, and i do believe that california is a major supporter of healthy futures for our youths. If this park is taken away from these talented individuals, it will force them into continuing to pursue their love of skating elsewhere, and this will pose a threat to other private establishments with the possibility of lawsuits if anyone where to get seriously hurt while kn the peoperty.
Maybe there is a way to keep both party's involved happy. How about this new Owner who purchased the peoperty take time to speak to the SkateFe Crew and see if a deal cant be made. This beautiful city of visalia thrives from establishments like this. We cant lose another unique part of Visalia (drive in theater) to another corporate establishment.
I hope all works out well.
If skatefe is clodes down, perhaps the new owner of the property could donate to rebuilding a new skate park i. Another nice area of visalia. Its a thought.

Please do not shut down this park. They have worked day after day to have such a privilage and it is heart breaking to see this being taken away. They may be kids, but they have just as much of a right to this land as the people who bought it do. Don't let money rule over determination and effort to keep this sweet place standing, thanks.
