I grew up skating in this town and for locals to build a place to build skills and yet a social fun group should not be taken away but yet appreciated. It brings our town together from all parts of life.

Someone owns the property that people decided to start building stuff on without permission. Just because it wasn't in use doesn't make it free for people to build a skatepark. That's life thats not discriminating. And that's somebody's money that got spent on it. Would you let a bunch of bums sleep and make a shelter in your yard and invite other bums and pitch tents etc? It's helpful to them to have somewhere to sleep and live but you'd prolly kick em out. It's all the same. I support skate fe but nobody is discriminating skaters. Somebody owns the property and is gonna use it to build or sell it and can't do that if the land has a bunch of concrete ramps on it. That's life.

Why does everyone treat skaters like criminals. We are normal people who chose skating as a hobby and by taking the skatepark away from them will just anger them because they cant enjoy skating without someone discriminating them.

skate parks play a large role in youth lives. they meet friends, practice tricks, meet friend, and maybe even get sponsored , leading them to their dream job.You wouldn't tear down a baseball field or football field, why tear down a skate park?

Really fun skatepark, my best friend enjpys it very much!! Please do not close it down, there is already a lack of skate parks in Visalia!!

We support you all the way! ... Idea, make a deal with the bank to rent. Charge $0.25 a head. Make everyone sign a liabilty waiver ... You can't let them tear it down. I watched you build it.
