I grew up skateboarding in Visalia. They should keep the skate park open.

Skateboarding is an amazing sport. No one should be able to take a skate community's spot away from them. A skate park is a skate park and remains a skate park. Please find somewhere else to plant a new bank and keep the skate community alive at this spot.

Whatever reason you have to shut down this skatepark is not a good enough reason to ruin kids days and hinder memories that could have possibly been made.
