Make a park with lots of street obstacles ! Ramps are boring and so old school people want obstacles to skate . Hence why a lot of property gets defaced

Fuquay needs more recreational spaces for the youth. A skate park would be a wonderful addition especially since the town has done such a great job tearing down DIY skate spots built by hard working towns people throughout the years.

Extreme sports are exploding. The skatepark in Apex is extremely packed at all times. Skateparks provide a lot for the community, and they give kids something to do.

FV needs to incorporate a stay and play initiative. Create places to attract our residents to stay in FV to play and have fun. People of all ages, from 5 to adults, enjoy skate parks. If a person were to go to the Apex skatepark (as am example) on any given day at any given time, you would see all ages there. I think it's awesome that it's a sport that is enjoyed by all ages. And everyone is respectful of each other. I see teens helping younger kids when they notice they need help. I see parents teaching their kids. And it's not just skateboards but scooters are welcomed also. It would be fun and used without a doubt. I'm not a skateboarder but I will advocate for these kids who need a safe place to exercise their passion. Let me know how I can help!
