We will be Inclusive

We will go out of our comfort zone to help others.

We will invite people who are not our close friends to sit with us.

We will not judge others based on how they look, the way they dress, or the way they perform in school.

We will not make plans in front of people who are not included.

We will not exclude people from conversations or social gatherings or stand in a closed circle, giving others the impression that they should not approach.

We will not allow conversations to revolve exclusively around us.

We will be Sensitive

We will be careful with the jokes and sarcastic comments we make and watch our tone of voice when speaking.

We will share notes with people in need.

We will ask permission before posting on social media (really ask.)

We will not post or comment on social media what we would not want posted or commented about us.

We will not make people uncomfortable with our gestures, like rolling eyes at other people.

We will not act in a way that others might perceive as mean.

We will Treat Others with Respect

We will think about how others will feel before we act and treat others the way we want to be treated.

We will value others’ opinions without criticizing.

We will respect others’ privacy.

We will compliment people, genuinely.

We will make eye contact and give people our full attention when they speak.
