Final supporters
Everyday, we as young people and students, are told that the fate of the country is in our hands and that we are responsible for the change we want to see as "future leaders". They tell us that we have our individual rights and voice. Students of Belize, now is the time to exercise those liberties. In light of the recent uproar being caused by the Belize National Teacher's Union, many schools and students have expressed their support for the BNTU's strike, fight against corruption and other issues affecting our nation. We believe that students and executives alike should stand in solidarity with the BNTU and their movement. They are one of the most powerful and influential organizations in our country and they need every other establishment's help to set their plan in motion. In support of BNTU, we hope to voice the students' sentiments towards the matter and then seek action. By signing this petition, you too are supporting this initiative by regular students, just as yourself, and the BNTU's cause. This is something much bigger than the institutions and the unions. This is something that will determine the direction of our country's development. Let us keep in mind that we are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided. We may be young, but together we have more power than we believe.

It is wild to think about how much energy is moving through this page right now and I keep finding myself refreshing the count just to make sure it is real.

I was just staring at the screen and watching the numbers climb because it honestly feels like we are on the verge of something really big now that we are creeping up on five hundred signatures. Please ping your friends or group chats right now because I think hitting that milestone before the next school day starts would really show people we are not just some random group but an actual movement.

As a graduate of sjcjc I support the teachers demands of accountability and better governance.
WE ARE NOT THREATED BY THE GOB, WE ARE TIRED OF BEING VICTIMIZED. STANDING 100% WITH THE BNTU
I am for the teachers geting their 3% and for the government to listen to the voices of the teachers. However, I have notice too many political operatives trying to push some agenda. I totally against any political motif. We need to be better than this if we want a better Belize. If we wanna stop corruption. We got to put BELIZE first before POLITICS.
Not a current student but a recent graduate but I stand with the teachers of BELIZE! Education is very trivial for a country's success and teachers are the gateway to achieve such success!
As future leaders of this country, we need to stand together and support our teachers. No matter how big or how small our action is we will create a reaction.
