16 teen year old Michael Baily grew up on the north end of Detroit, just another pure pressure story. Another young boy strung out on heroin before he new what drugs or lifewas.Michael Baily and one other youth robbed a party store back in the 60's. Things went wrong and Mike and the store owner shot each other in the leg. No one died. although a very serious offense. The police arrived and arrested both boys. Mike's friend went home with probation and Mike was tried as an adult and sent to prison for life. Mike went to prison as a boy and has served 38 years. People go to prison for murder and don't do that much time.

After 38 long years Mike has grownand blossomed into a loving and responsible adult internally and spiritually. In thirty eight years Mike has completedalmost every skill and degree one can obtain in prison. Mike is no longer a threat to society. Mike earned his parole and was released after 38 long years. He rejoined his family falling completely in love withhis nieces,nephews and grand children. He got a job cutting hair, they're hair mostly. In the short time Mike was released people easily fill forand enjoyed Mike as a person. And he enjoyed people. Who wouldn't after 38 years?They chipped in and bought Mike a little car to get back and fourth to work.

Everything was going perfectbut Mike made one mistake. He was paroled to his X wife's house Janette Baily who resided in W. Bloomfield Michigan. Like everyone else she fill madly in love with Mike. She was controlling, jealous and insecure. Mike couldn't leave her sight. After six months of her abuse Mike could take no more. Hehad just come from being locked down and controlled for 38 years, but she wanted his all for herself and hated for him to leave the house. Mike had enough and lifted moving down into the city. She hated it. A scorned woman.

Mike movie into a rooming house with two other occupants. Someone wrote an anonymous letter to the parole office. I wonder who would do such a thing to so nice of a person.. The police and parole officer came and found a gun under the couch. And guess who was arrested? You're right. The man that had just came home from doing 38 years with a stricklyno weapon stipulation, no enemies, no reason at all for needing a gun or any kind of trouble. Yeap' the 50 year old man was sent back to prison for another ten or more years. Mike has served 43 years, not being charged with no new charges for the gun,and is still having a hard time in trying to getback to society. I'm sure that tax money and jail space could be put to some good use instead of wasting it on a man that has done enough time and is no threat to society. Please take the time to sign or write to some one about Mike Baily being released Yes he's made his one big mistake when he was a boy. But now he's a man and has never had a chance at being one, not a free one.
