I don't always drive but I do like to park my a... when i have a coffee, listen to music. Come on Toronto this bylaw does not make any sense! Pull a chair, let's talk about it! Oh sorry, we are to allowed to offer you a seat,

We now have about 220 signatures on our paper petition at the café, bringing us to about 288. The goal is 1000 so we are almost 30% there. I would like to encourage you to tell your friends to either show up to sign in person or to do it online. News: I found a Toronto Star article about a restaurant on Queen that got exempted from providing parking and I found a councillor who I was told would support this and I wrote to both of them. Thanks again for your support. The café is opened for more than a month now and the business is growing each day!

Most of the patrons coming here are earth friendly, bike friendly and not in need of a car. Be lenient with new business start ups so you give people a chance to estblished themselves instead of breaking them down too early into their new venture

Please exempt this worthwhile venture from the parking requirement. This venue provides the community with cultural and creative events for all ages. It also provides a place where people can meet. It contributes to the economic growth of the businesses along Kingston Road making it attractive for other businesses and residents.

A much needed cultural venue in this area! Parking in addition to that available on street is not necessary.

Please allow Café chez Hélène to have sit-down customers to promote french culture in our bilingual country, by providing an exemption for the provision of parking spaces. Thank you.

Please allow Cafe chez Helene in Birchcliffe village the ability to accomdodate sit-down customers. Our neighbourhood needs more venues like this! We have enough seedy bars. This is a step toward cleaning up our area.

I strongly recommend that Café chez Hélène be allowed a sit-down café. Some elderly, mothers with chidren etc. might just appreciate it. Plus being a short person, what is the likelyhood that I will be stuck behind a tall person as I try to watch a performance? Please grant her the sitting right to a wonderful initiative. I'll worry about the parking.

That is ridiculous!!! So many people walk or cab to restaurants and most restaurants in the core have parking (and by core I mean prob from Ossignton to Victoria Park, north to Lawrence! That is a completely unfair issue for new restauranteurs to have to deal with!
