Our community and Why a Skate Plaza

Our community

      Sissonville,West Virginia is infamous for drugs. I know all to well about drugs because most of my family is addicts. What we are trying to do with this petition is spark the minds of our coummunity. To show them that we can do what ever we set our minds too. I believe parents are the trend setters and the back bone of our kids future. Kids are subjects in this world of the ideology we pass down to them. So if you follow the ideology of you can do what ever you set your mind too. Than show your kids dont tell them talk is cheep. So i ask you support building our community/Skate Plazas and lets get the kids of now and the future on a different track than drugs fast food video games and computer.

 Why a skate plazas

I think building a skate plaza in sissonville would be the best way to start. I talk to parents from all walks of life in sissonville. They all say we need a change but not one of them is doing anything to change it. When i bring up a skate plaza they laugh at me and tell me that no one even skates in sissonville not true. There are many kids that skate in sissonville (and even more kids that want to start) but not in sissonvile because there is no where to skate. They are forced to find a ride to charleston just to get kicked out of anywhere there is to skate. And with todays gas prices no one can give rides leav
