In 2008, Sir Yuengling traveled to 8 different festivals wearing armor made out of Yuengling lager cases. Wherever he went, he spread joy and increased awareness of Yuengling's products. He did all of this with money from his own pocket, paying for festival tickets, delicious Yuengling lager for himself and others, gas, and all of the the materials used for his armor. Let's figure festival tickets are an average of $70 apiece, a case of beer around $20 (at 2 per fest...one for drinking, one for sharing to spread Yuengling's good name, so $40), and $40 for gas. That's $150 per fest or $1200 for the summer. Add roughly $100 for armor creation and upkeep to get $1300! I'm hoping that Yuengling will recognize the huge amount of free advertising I have provided and will offer to sponsor the journeys of Sir Yuengling in the future.
