Sir Bobby Robson is one of the greatest and most influential figures in the history of Ipswich Town Football Club. He is also one of the most respected and well loved characters in the game, not only in the UK but across Europe. Sadly, Sir Bobby is again unwell. We believe that the time has come to rename the North Stand at Portman Road, \"The Sir Bobby Robson Stand\" in tribute. We believe it would be fitting to ensure that this honour is bestowed during Sir Bobby\'s lifetime so he can fully understand the level of affection and appreciation which exists in the club.

We are approaching the 1,000 signature mark and need a final push to hit this goal before we present our request. Please text three fellow fans right now and ask them to sign. We have to show the club that this tribute is long overdue.

Long overdue. The man is a hero and the stand should have his name on it years ago.

Absolute legend. He put the club on the map and he deserves this whilst he is still with us.
