Hello, we are from the Challenge Network and we are campaigning to Blackburn with Darwen council to introduce water safety classes in local leisure centres. We feel this is important, as many people don't know how to act in a dangerous situations involving water. Our campaign, Sink or Swim aims to gain at least 250 signatures to back our idea. The petition will then be presented to a representative of Blackburn with Darwen council on 23rd September 2012. We will also be putting on an awareness day around Blackburn town centre on the 23rd September, where will be sharing advice and information on this serious subject.
