In many countries the single use plastic bottles of water are sold with a small deposit fee in addition to the price. This deposit is given back when the bottle is returned to the recycling machine or back to the any of the store. This helps in avoiding litter, and the bottles which are still thrown by people are collected by the pickers for some financial help. This model can be adopted if for a plastic bottle of Rs 20, 22 Rupees are charged, 2 Rs being the 'plastic deposit', returned when the bottle is returned.

The government needs to implement the model by setting up plastic recycling plants and force the supermarkets/big stores to have the bottle collection machines or/and counter. Filing this petition for an action by the center.
