I am in tears as i read all of the comments and stories posted by my coworkers and patrons. The fact that we r being treated like this is beyond cruel. I moved to NY 2 years ago without much. Sin has helped me survive in this city alone. I have no family in new york......sin city is my family. To spend day after day with the same people that have become a part of ur life and then have that taken away is wrong. Im sure theres plenty other locations for the developers to build. There is damn sure more important things nypd and the boro president should b concerning themslvs with! I love all u guys and we will b ok! Stay strong sin city family. #FreeSinCity

I'm a day cook/ kitchen helper at Sin City and I have never witnessed any illegal activity nor have I heard of anyone participating in anything illegal. As a kitchen worker, i mingle with all of Sin City's employees and management on a daily basis. They are some of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever worked with. Real people with real lives and real responsibilities with real goals for themselves and their families. I too fall in that category. I am an aspiring Chef. I'm currently in the process of fighting for sole custody of my 2 sons and this shut down of Sin City has really staggered my ability to attain and care for my sons. One of which, my youngest, is stuck in a Foster care system in Maryland. Working at Sin City allowed me the flexibility and the means to take care of my sons, all while being in an ongoing effort to attain full custody and provide a much better life than what they've already been through. Please allow Sin City to remain open because 100's of employees and countless other good tax paying families will be negatively affected by this. Sin City is a great place and we do great things for our community.

Sin city was an excellent place to work at it provided me with a set schedule helped me put myself through school I worked for Gus a total of 5 years as a front door girl, never once has this establishment not done for the community or it's employees. When I most needed a job they were there in order for me to pay for school I supported myself and graduated thanks to this establishment. If and when any illegal things did happen here I'm certainneither the owner or managements themselves knew or partook in any of it. Security, management as well as all the personal there did everything possible to keep our patrons safe. A lot of people may have a misconception of the night life but thanks to it iam now a dental hygienist it is a job like everything else Bc you work at night doesn't make it any less of an employment, I sign this petition to stand with sin city for all the great years I had with them all of the toy drives, community help , everything stated is true I myself participated Gus and management always made that a key element and it was mandatory all personal attended to these events if you get rid of sin city you're hurting a community you're hurting families that make their living off of this .
My best wishes .

As a worker there, this is not fair for all employees, to loose their job that supports them on a daily basis. Hope everything works out.
