Every child should not be denied the right to live . Please take this decision out of the hands of a third party and give it back to the parent or guardian .

I back this up 110%. I lost my son with full trisomy 13 at 13 months and I had to fight and be his voice so many times in his little life he was here on earth. Spend most of his time in the hospital in and out all the time. But I wouldn't of changed any of it for one second. He was my warrior, my fighter, my son and not once did I let them (doctors) say different.

I live in a place that honored my decision as a parent to fight for my trisomy 18 son. He was my ten year miracle baby… I'm grateful that I did not live somewhere that would've taken him from me just because he was genetically imperfect. This law needs to be in the entire country. No parent should have to watch doctors decide to let their child die.

I support this law, last year on August I lost my precious baby girl T18, and doctors did not want to do anything, not options just they said no miracles for this. I was really painful to hear that, that they label incompatible with life, she had heart problems, not left lung development, they didn't want to take actions, she was 2lb 15 onces, low weight for heart surgery and they said not nothing to do for her, just we decided to let her go. That was so hard

My daughter had Trisomy 18. The first doctors/hospital I was treated under were not very encouraging. The second doctor and hospital did everything they could to give our daughter a chance at life, that's all we wanted, was for her to have a chance.

Parents have the right to have a say in there child's care. I was blessed for 25 years with my beautiful trisomy child. We gave her a chance.
