It is the PARENT'S right to make these determinations. Not all T18's die at birth or immediately after. If they have sustainable life, why in God's name would you starve an infant to death? Have you lost your mind? Thank God for Catholic hospitals-they talk openly with the parents, and make sure the parents have had access to a genetic counselor who has actually seen their baby, so they can make a fully informed decision. My grandson was in stable condition for 48 hours at which point he had a major stroke, with bleeding in the brain and could not survive surgery. At least we got to hold him, tell him how much we love him and that he would forever be in our hearts, on our minds and our own precious Angel.

This is absolutely horrible. This policy should be banned asap. No parent ever wants to have the say in whether to let their child continue this life or fly with the angels but I'll be damned if the decision should be left up to a nurse or anyone else that is not the child's parents.

I can't believe they are getting away with this. Placing a DNR on your Child.... without your knowledge. It's horrendous.

I will sign as every child is the parents responsibility not a hospital choice to decide if a child is worth saving.... I can't believe this even has to come to this because hospitals think it's their choice!! Good Luck and Simon's Law needs putting in place ☺️
