Give the right to the parents for their child. No doctor should take away that right. No right to decide who lives and who doesn't, especially on the basis of a disorder.

This is wrong!!!! And I heard someone else's similar story. Except her son was 5 or 7. He had an asthma attack, went in a coma. I believe he came out of it but needed to be on a breathing machine. They got him out 24 hours before the Dr. was determined to unplug. He is now getting well in another hospital Ina other state. She had to stand guard the entire time before the deadline. The Dr. was hostile

My daughter is 7 months old living and thriving with Trisomy 18. No one on Earth, especially a physician, has the right to determine her value which cannot be measured in years, months, minutes, seconds or gestation. I expect the same quality care and full interventions that would be offered to her "healthy" 3 and 2 year old brothers.

No one but the POA or guardians should have the power to place a DNR or deny life-sustaining care. You don't get to pass judgement and deem someone not worthy of care just because of a diagnosis. That right is for the family to decide.

I'm so sorry y'all had to endure this pain. It sickens me to know your beautiful Simon endured so much cruelty at the hands of those who were to save it!!
